La Loteria

The legend is true. This place is bomb. The people who work here are also extremely humble and down to earth. I had the queso burger and la loteria asada fries. I’m almost certain that anything you buy here would be good. All together I spent about $30 and that included two drinks. They also have daily specials too!

First of all, I’m leaving this review before even finishing my food. It’s that good. Their green chile is fresh and delicious. They have diner style thick cut fries to die for. Their burger is HUGE and they even caramelized some onions on the side. The owner who I’m assuming I talked to was kind and gracious. This is the spot. I almost feel bad leaving a review so they don’t get too popular. Amazing food. Kind staff. Will be going here often.

Came in closer to closing time than I would have liked, and they still were fast, polite, and happy to make me some nachos. And they are delicious! (Picture is as I was eating them, they looked way nicer when I opened it)

We went there yesterday for the first time and we loved it! The staff was kind, the food on fire! We loved the tostadas (pastor and asada) and our burritos (pastor and carnitas) were so juicy, flavorful so good! Their spicy salsa both the green and red one are really really good! This is our new favorite restaurant in ABQ! The burritos are full of meat please never change that!

Amazing Food! Incredible service!! Fast!! The best low prices!!! I want to keep this place a secret, but it's too good not to share it with you. If you haven't tried La Loteria yet, you are missing out. Carla and the team at this place have it figured out. You suddenly crave tacos and think of chains like Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Taco Cabana... No. Drive another few blocks and go here because you will get way better food and service and save time and money you would have wasted on trash-tasting tacos. You deserve this! This is what Tacos are supposed to be! These guys have online ordering, and with a few button clicks, you can choose your meals and drinks, add what you want more of, or take away whatever you don't want. It's super easy. Pay online and show up a few minutes later to pick up Hot, Fresh, and Delicious food for a fraction of the cost elsewhere. Maybe you're not in the mood for tacos (is that even a thing?). They have a whole selection of Burgers, Tortas, and Burritos to choose from. Again, you can customize it however you like. They are going to get it right, and you'll be so happy and full. They give you generous portions, too. Online orders stop at 8 p.m., but don't worry—you can still place your order in person at La Loteria. You won't have a long wait time because they have this down to a science! I couldn't figure out why there wasn't a line out the door at this place; there should be; it's That Good! There's no line because they are skilled at getting the food out to their customers fast so they can enjoy their meal and their lives. You aren't waiting around in line like other places, wishing they'd hurry up. These guys take their role seriously in making your food delicious, low-cost, and fast. Do yourself a favor and get your next meal (or several) from La Loteria!!

FANTASTIC - wanted a Chili Cheeseburger from a non-chain establishment and La Loteria hit it out-of-the-park! If you’re a tourist like us don’t be taken-aback from outward appearance - the place is amazing. Very clean and such a friendly staff with great service. We had an amazing lunchtime experience with tacos & Chili Cheeseburger.

l had a lunch with my family. It serves quite special Mexican cuisine. The hamburger is big, tasty, and the price is very reasonable. The staff are quite friendly.

It's a roll of the dice when trying new places. Most times the odds are against me. Lol But I took a chance on this place and won! Super friendly service and super tasty food! Got the Loteria Fries w/ chicken. Other reviews were right, can definitely taste that freshness in the ingredients. All flavors on point! Tender chicken too. Even got that char from the grill! (Not like a funky burnt, ya know)I like the big star for decor and the full aesthetic of the place. Not gimmicky either.
